Planning for Literacy Learning - OEL608

This course will examine general instructional strategies for the literacy classroom or one-to-one tutoring settings. You will learn the elements of planning and applying these to the development of long-rage learning plans, individual lessons, and theme units. Students will also explore ways to locate, adapt and develop materials and resources for use in literacy learning. In the final component of this course, students will examine group dynamics and strategies for working with multi-level groups.
