Program Overview

Quick Fact:

After only 8 months, you will graduate with an Ontario College Construction Carpentry Techniques certificate.

The Construction Carpentry Techniques program is designed to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge required to pursue employment in the construction sector. Our students will learn how to build and perform basic carpentry work, work safely on construction sites, do concrete and form work, conduct surveys and estimates, and will even learn how to do lay-outs and read blueprints. As an option, graduates may succeed in securing an apprenticeship and be able to reinforce and expand on the skills they have learned through hands-on experiences alongside a qualified tradesperson.
