1. How do I advertise a job posting to Sault College students and graduates?
Answer:
Access our “How to Post A Job” page or email your job posting to lynda.bowyer@saultcollege.ca, or fax it to 705-254-1667. We will enter it on our internal WorkopolisCampus.com website, post it on our paper Job Board and advertise it in our Student Employment Services area.
2. How do I arrange to come on campus to promote my business and recruit students?
Answer:
Call Lynda Bowyer at 705-759-2554 ext 2466 or by email lynda.bowyer@saultcollege.ca to set up a booth outside Student Services or to speak to a program-related class. You may also elect to participate in our ongoing “Virtual Job Fair” for a small fee. Please contact us to have your logo and web page linked to our Student Employment Services site.
3. How do I access students for co-op placements and field placements?
Answer:
You may contact Lynda Bowyer at 705-759-2554 ext 2466 or by email lynda.bowyer@saultcollege.ca and she will provide you with with contact information for the appropriate individual.
4. Who do I speak to regarding wage subsidies for hiring new graduates?
Answer:
Funding may be available for employers hiring graduates for full time positions. Please contact your local HRSD office or access their website http://www.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/ for more information.
5. How do I find out about the graduate's skills and knowledge from a particular program?
Answer:
You should contact Lynda Bowyer at 705-759-2554 ext 2466 or by email lynda.bowyer@saultcollege.ca to discuss program related skill sets of our students and graduates.
