Key Performance Indicators

The Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are an attempt to measure how well Ontario colleges meet the needs of students and the marketplace.

KPIs are intended to let students, colleges, the Minister and the Ontario public know how employers, students and grads feel about college programs and their relevance to today's working world.

Current KPI data:

Three key performance indicators: Ontario Student Loan Default rates, Graduate Employment Rates and Graduation Rates by program are included in this document (The data for this reporting year comes from graduate data 2004-2005).

Note:

  • A common methodology has been used for the calculations for all program-related information provided by all colleges.
  • The data is effective as of May 2006 and will be updated annually.
  • The Approved Program Sequence Code (APS) is a number assigned for each approved program by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities.
