This course provides an in-depth study of advanced meteorology, radio and satellite navigation, aerodynamics, aircraft systems, engines, instruments, and aircraft performance in preparation for commercial pilot operations. Students will apply theoretical knowledge to practical aviation scenarios, including flight planning and the use of ForeFlight, weight and balance, cruise performance, multi-engine operations, system failures, emergency procedures, and advanced navigation and meteorological concepts. Successful completion of the applicable Transport Canada commercial pilot examination requirements will be a component of successful completion of this course.
