How To Apply

For   Canadian residents applying for full-time, post-secondary studies follow the steps below. If you are not a Canadian resident, you must apply as an International Student here.
 

  1. APPLY
    Go to www.ontariocolleges.ca  and apply by February 1st for equal consideration. Follow the prompts to complete the process. Call us at 705.759.2554 ext. 2222 for help as you are applying. There is a non-refundable $95 application processing fee to apply.

    As soon as you apply, you will receive an email from Sault College thanking you for applying to Sault College. Provided in the email will be your Sault College username (student number) and a temporary password and a link to access our Sault College Student Portal.
     
  2. ACCEPT
    Watch for communication from Sault College.
    Offers of admission for programs beginning in the fall semester are sent out after February 1st. Once your application is processed, you'll receive an official letter via email, and in the mail to let you know if you are accepted into your program of choice or if there is anything missing from your application. 

    Your acceptance will also be visible at www.ontariocolleges.ca .

    Once accepted, don't forget to view your Acceptance Guide. "Your Acceptance Guide" can be found by logging into your Student Portal at   my.saultcollege.ca, then clicking on the "Records" tab and then the "Admissions & Registrations" column. You will have access to information on how to confirm your offer, fee and payment information, important deadlines, campus services and much more.
     
  3. CONFIRM
    The most important step is going back online to www.ontariocolleges.ca to confirm your offer of admission once we've accepted you into your program. For programs beginning in the fall semester, you need to confirm your offer of admission by May 1st to secure your seat in the program.

    Please note that if you apply after May 1st, you are given two weeks to confirm your offer of admission.
     
  4. PAY
    Once you have confirmed your offer of admission online at www.ontariocolleges.ca, we will send you a confirmation of acceptance letter in the mail which will include important fee payment deadlines. You'll need to arrange for your payment of fees to secure your spot in your program. Mid-June, tuition deposits are due, and in early August, the balance of your fall tuition is due to continue to secure your spot in your program. See our Important Dates page for more information.
