Testing Centre

Sault College’s Testing Centre is located in Student Services, Room E1101.  The Testing Centre offers a variety of testing services to our students and the general public.   For more information regarding testing services and our fees please contact Student Services at 759-2554, extension 2703.

Wednesday 1-4pm
Thursday 4pm - 7pm
Friday 9am-12pm

Out of Class Testing

Students who have missed tests or are unable to complete tests at the scheduled class time have the opportunity to request an alternate testing time and location.  With the approval of the professor a student can arrange an alternate testing time in the Testing Centre under the supervision of the Testing Officer.  The Out of Class Testing procedures and booking form is available on the Student Portal.

The Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT)

The CAAT is an assessment for individuals applying for admission as mature students who do not have the necessary math and/or English credits for admission to the program of their choice.  The results of the CAAT will assess skill in these two areas and readiness for college entry.

Career Testing Package

The package includes three assessments:  Differential Aptitude Test (DAT), the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII).  The results of these assessments will aid individuals in making decisions regarding programs of study or career paths to follow.  The testing is administered at scheduled times throughout the year.

The Testing Centre is also a recognized site for the proctoring of exams for professional groups and certifying bodies such as:

  • Apprenticeship Exemption Exams
  • Institute of Canadian Bankers
  •  LLQP
  • Credit Union Institute of Canada
  • Other colleges and universities, and many other organizations
