This course provides skill development in environmental communication for industry, research and government audiences as well as the general public. Emphasis is given to understanding of the needs of different audiences, and developing appropriate content, vocabulary and format for maximum impact. Coursework includes researching, writing and editing reports, public service announcements and nature interpretation, as well as developing and delivering oral presentations. The ethics and appropriate use of Artificial Intelligence in environmental communication is also discussed.
