Sociology and Canadian Society

This course is an introduction to contemporary sociological thinking and to theories of social behaviour, including deviance and social control. Using sociological concepts and perspectives, students will study and survey areas related to Canadian society and culture, including: social inequalities, social interactions, and collective behaviour.
