Celebrating Success: 2021 Premier’s Award Nominees

(Sault Ste. Marie, ON August 4, 2021) –  Each year, Sault College proudly nominates remarkable Sault College alumni for the prestigious Ontario Colleges Premier’s Awards. Presented annually, the Premier’s Awards recognize graduates in the following seven categories: Apprenticeship, Business, Community Services, Creative Arts and Design, Health Sciences, Recent Graduate, and Technology.

Honouring the important social and economic contributions that college graduates make to Ontario and throughout the world, the awards were launched in 1992 and are administered by Colleges Ontario.

“Our alumni are an important part of our Sault College community and we are thrilled to have a means to recognize those who have had significant impacts in the seven award categories,” said Dr. Ron Common, President Sault College. “This year, we chose to nominate and celebrate four alumni who have amazing success stories. We take great pleasure in sharing their stories and are honoured to have helped to provide the foundation of their professional lives and journeys.”

“The Ontario Colleges Premier’s Awards are an annual celebration of the amazing potential and contributions of Ontario’s college graduates. Sault College is proud to once again showcase the achievements of four accomplished alumni. These incredible individuals are true role models and we are honoured to be represented by them at this year’s awards,” said Tyler Epp, Manager, Alumni Relations and Events, Sault College.
