Sault College Celebrates Bright Lights with Annual Awards

(Sault Ste. Marie, ON August 24, 2023) – This week, Sault College proudly recognized the outstanding commitment and dedication of several of its employees at the College’s annual Service and Excellence Awards Ceremony. Surrounded by colleagues, employees – who were nominated by peers and selected by a peer review committee – were celebrated for outstanding work achievements through the College’s Northern Lights Employee Excellence Award program.

“As we look forward to the new academic year, this was a great opportunity to gather and re-connect. We were able to celebrate significant service award milestones and recognize those employees who consistently go the extra mile, exemplifying the spirit of the Northern Lights Employee Excellence Awards," said David Orazietti, President, Sault College. "Our recipients have not only enriched the lives of our students and colleagues but have also demonstrated their dedication to reaching new heights of excellence. We are proud to honour their accomplishments and their ongoing commitment."

The Northern Lights Employee Excellence Awards were created in 2006 to recognize excellence in any endeavour that enriches the community in which they serve. The objective of the Sault College Northern Lights Employee Excellence Award is to recognize and celebrate our people’s exceptional efforts in a variety of categories and in alignment with the actions of our Strategic Plan.
