Prerequisites:
This course integrates field placement, seminar sessions, and faculty support to provide students with their first opportunity to apply classroom learning in their assigned field practice. Through experiential learning, students will begin to develop comfort and confidence in working with young children while gaining familiarity with the daily practices and expectations of the profession. Emphasis will be placed on the application of relevant policies, exploration of early learning best practices, and the development of professional skills. Students will also begin to build meaningful relationships with children, families, peers, and educators, laying the foundation for reflective and ethical practice.
