Sault College thanks community employers and job seekers for a landmark 26th Annual Career Fair

Sault College extends its sincere thanks to the community employers, partners, and members of the public who made the 26th Annual Career Fair a resounding success.

This year’s event welcomed approximately 3,000 job seekers and featured over 100 registered employers, representing a broad range of sectors—from the skilled trades and aviation to law enforcement, health, business, and public service. The strong turnout and depth of employer participation made for a well-attended, inspiring, and productive day, with meaningful conversations and real opportunities created for both employers and job seekers.

The Career Fair continues to demonstrate the strength of our regional workforce and the value of long-standing partnerships between education, industry, and the community. Employers were able to connect directly with talent, share insights about their industries, and identify potential future employees, while job seekers gained exposure to career pathways and hiring opportunities across Northern Ontario and beyond.

“Events like the Career Fair highlight what is possible when community, industry, and education come together with a shared purpose,” said Sherri Smith, Interim President of Sault College.

“We are grateful to our employers for their continued engagement and to the thousands of job seekers who showed up ready to learn, connect, and take the next step in their careers. The energy and turnout this year were truly exceptional.”

Now in its 26th year, the Sault College Career Fair remains a cornerstone event for the region, supporting workforce development, economic growth, and career mobility for students and community job seekers alike.

Sault College thanks everyone who participated and contributed to making this year’s event such a success—and looks forward to welcoming you back next year.
