Policy in Health Care

In this course, students will study the Canadian health care system from the perspectives of history, the law, the economy, politics, ethics, and the national social background. Students will gain an understanding of current issues and what drives evolution of the health care system.  Students will study policy development, importance to the system and current trends. Impacts on the health care system, in terms of access, utilization and outcomes will be explored.
