Geographic Information Systems

This introduction GIS (Geographic Information System) course will cover the major components of ESRI`s (Environmental Systems Research Institute) ArcView GIS software. Students will gain familiarity with Views and Themes, working with Tables and Charts, Symbology and Layouts, Theme on Theme selection, Proximity Analysis and Spatial Analysis. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to comfortably use Arc View GIS to view, query, analyze, chart and map geographic data.
