The OpportunityA part-time English as a Second Language (ESL) Curriculum Design Officer to develop a series of courses aimed at speaking and writing skills for ESL students. 

 What you need to be successful: 

  •  Master’s Degree in a related field is an asset 
  •  Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Graduate Certificate or Master’s of Applied Linguistics are preferred 
  •  Minimum of three years of teaching introductory writing and professional communication skills with academic expertise in English rhetoric, grammar, and writing 
  •  Experience with online course delivery is preferred 
  •  A strong commitment to academic excellence and student success 
  •  Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners 
  •  Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a faculty team 

This is a temporary part-time support staff position, up to 24 hours per week, $33.06/hour. This work will be done remotely.
