Are you a new student beginning your program at Sault College in September 2026? We want to make sure you’re off to the best start before classes and get ready for success as a Sault College student.

All new students are encouraged to attend Orientation Day.

Pre-Orientation Sessions will also be available in August to help you get all the information you need before your program begins this fall.

Orientation Day is mandatory for international students.

Looking for additional support to prepare for your college program?

New students with Identified Learning Disabilities have the opportunity to get “settled in" before starting classes with our free Transition to College program. Registration is now open for fall 2026.

We want you to feel comfortable before starting classes. Join us for pre-orientation sessions before your first semester begins.

O-Week

Get ready for an amazing start to your college journey with O-Week events from your Sault College Students’ Union in January. Stay tuned to the SCSU website for details on events like skiing/snowboarding at Searchmont, ice skating, and more.

First Year Student Survey

Let's help you achieve your academic goals and learn about opportunities to get involved. New students starting January 2026 can complete the short online survey for a chance to win a $250 Chartwells (cafeteria) gift card at Orientation Day on January 5. You will also get a chance to win a pair of snowshoes on January 9.
