Academic Counselling

Our Counsellors are available to assist potential students and current students make academic related decisions. Maureen and Tammy are able to provide information on programs within the College and help students develop an academic plan. Students can also benefit from student success strategy sessions that can be offered individually and in groups. Topics range from study skills, time management, stress management, test preparation, note taking and learning styles.

Personal and Crisis Counselling

Native Student Services includes access to short term counselling for students experiencing personal and/or mental health issues.

Counsellors are available at the college Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm.   If this is an emergency    or after hours please visit Sault Area Hospital, or your local Emergency Department. You can also call one of the following crisis lines/emergency responders:
