Residence Application Process

Are you a new student looking to live in residence in September 2024? Applications open February 1, 2024.

If you are looking to live in Residence January - April 2024, please use the application link below.


We encourage you to start your housing search right away, so you can secure the best accommodations for your needs.

If you are looking to stay in Residence during the academic year (Sept-April) or during the summer  semester  (May-August), please apply online.

International Students
International Students are not required to submit a $50 application fee when they apply. If you are offered a room, $50 will be added to your Residence Fees.

 

Fall 2024-25 Application Process

Residence applications open on February 1, 2024 using the application form above.

Early Bird Application
Deadline: March 18, 2024

Eligibility

  • You must submit your online application, pay the $50    non-refundable application fee, and you must accept your Program Offer of Admission to Sault College through the  OCAS website  by   March 18, 2024   to be eligible
  • Applying to Early Bird does not guarantee you a room offer

Room Offers and Deposits

  • Room offers will be facilitated through a lottery
  • Offers will be sent to students 1-2 weeks following deadline
  • To confirm your offer you must email housing@saultcollege.ca by   Friday, May 3, 2024  at 4:00 p.m. 
    • We must be notified by this date in order to keep your room in residence
  • If you did not receive a room offer, you will be placed on a   waitlist

We do our best to accommodate all students, and those on the waitlist do have an opportunity to be accepted throughout the summer. We will email you if a room becomes available.

Residence Fees

  • Residence Fees are due   July 26, 2024    at 4:00 p.m.
  • If you plan to be receiving OSAP or other government assistance, you can defer your residence fees but will be required to submit the $60    Residence Payment Extension Form

  • You must submit your online application and pay the $50    non-refundable application fee by   May 3, 2024. All applications received by this date will be entered in the Residence Lottery
  • Applications received after this deadline will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis following all previous waitlists

Application Processing Delays

Applications submitted past either deadline will not be processed until after those that met the deadline.

Applications submitted without the $50 application fee will not be processed until payment is received.
